Yalova University, founded in 2008, is one of Turkey's youngest university. Industrial Engineering is one of the four engineering departments that were established in the first place within the Engineering Faculty of Yalova University. The first enrollment of the students to the Industrial Engineering department was in the 2009 - 2010 academic year.
