Reality2You Fintech Team achieved a great success in the Financial Technologies category at Teknofest 2024. Winning first place among 327 teams, the team can detect fraudulent activities with high accuracy during instant transactions thanks to the artificial neural network they developed to detect credit card fraud and the XGBoost algorithm that works simultaneously with it. The software analyzes each credit card transaction made by users and blocks transactions that are 80% or more likely to be fraudulent.
This software, which has a 98% accuracy rate, was developed by Mevhibe Düzenli, a 4th year Industrial Engineering student at Yalova University, Nisa Nur Keklik, a 1st year Industrial Engineering student at Yalova University, and İsmail Murat, a 4th year Software Engineering student at Haliç University, under the leadership of Reality2You Team Captain and Yalova University graduate Computer Engineer Yusuf Sami Kaygusuz.
