On May 20, 2025, Mr. İlhan Aydın, the Yalova Provincial Director of Industry and Technology, visited our department. The meeting was held in the Faculty of Engineering Dean’s Meeting Room, where mutual ideas were exchanged to strengthen university-industry collaboration.
During the meeting, topics such as providing academic support for the needs of industrial enterprises, involving students in practical projects, and increasing internship and employment opportunities were discussed. In addition, potential areas of cooperation in R&D and initiatives contributing to regional development were evaluated.
This visit is expected to enhance the effective transfer of our university’s knowledge base to industry and to strengthen the interaction between our Industrial Engineering Department and external stakeholders.
