Our 2nd-year student Nisa Nur Keklik has achieved a significant success as part of the TARAGAY-BIO team representing the Faculty of Engineering at Yalova University.
In the grand final of the Agricultural Technologies Ideathon, organized in collaboration with the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Capsule Technology Platform and the Mevlana Development Agency (MEVKA), the team was awarded the First Prize worth 75,000 TL.
The project titled “Seed Development in Microgravity Environment and a Biotechnological Test Bioreactor”, developed by the team including Nisa Nur Keklik, stands out with its innovative approach that brings together space and agriculture. Our student played an active role in the project, particularly in analysis, systematic thinking, and process management, successfully reflecting the Industrial Engineering perspective.
This achievement is a strong indication that our students are capable of producing innovative solutions through interdisciplinary collaboration.
